one way to structure the REVIEW

We started our movie review 1st drafts today. Group 9 presented a possible structure. While your movie review does not have to be structured just like this, this model does give a great example of what should be included in a review.


¶1: name of film, prominent stars, basic setting, type of film
¶2: plot summary, do not reveal ending; discuss at least 5 events, covering scope of film but not end
¶3: discuss one aspect of film-making
¶4: discuss another aspect of film-making
¶5: give overall reaction to film as well as opinion on quality, including recommendations for potential viewers

Please use the RUBRIC, your background notes, and the review articles you had to summarize to inform the structure and writing of your movie review as well!

YOU SHOULD COME TO CLASS WITH YOUR FINAL DRAFT AVAILABLE

•have links and pix available, have your TEXT available

•PICTURES should be downloaded TO THE DESKTOP or on a flash drive

•do a new post, put in your creative title

•paste in your article, fix the formatting

•put in your links: highlight text to be linked, click on link button, paste in your desired link, press OK (MAKE SURE THE DISPLAY TEXT STAYS THE SAME)

•for images, click on image icon (the little picture), click on choose file, then choose file from desktop/flashdrive, etc.. Select the uploaded image, click "add selected images"

•when image shows up in post, make size adjustments, alignment, and caption

     -->you can then move the picture about the post for best placement

•when it is PERFECT AND COMPLETE, press PUBLISH!!!
